I don't think Geisha would be the correct term (because there are "male Geisha" and they're known as host clubs, though they do differ a bit) Geisha, for the most part, are strictly forbidden from having sex with customers (Though this might have changed in modern times, I can't say for certain). The only time a Geisha can has sex is: A) At her mizuage, which is basically her virginity sold to the highest bidder B) To her Danna or her patron (sometimes a Geisha and her Danna are in a relationship, other times it's just business) he's a man who a geisha binds herself to in a marriage-like ceremony. He then takes care of all her needs in exchange for her fidelity. |
