Just a question I wanted to ask.
I like the one on the left better. |
| HeinousActsZX #714406 7 months ago |
...I swear this looked better in Paint... |
| pegacine #714408 7 months ago |
Cheerilee |
| Anonymous #714418 7 months ago |
Better in paint or not, the left one is still better. Guess they need to grow a little before they can look less disturbing. |
| gashunk #714427 7 months ago |
pony heads apparently don't actually grow until they're around teenaged |
| CasualWisdom #714428 7 months ago |
The left seems more like a toddler, while the right is more newborn. |
| CallMeAl #714429 7 months ago |
Both.
The right one could be newborn-ish, while the left could be more about toddler age. |
| MaroonBunyip #714431 7 months ago |
I see that this is the 'babies I hate' post. |
| Anonymous #714433 7 months ago |
Left. |
| HeinousActsZX #714437 7 months ago |
@MaroonBunyip
Not at all. I just want to know what others think. |
| Imdumb #714443 7 months ago |
Right one. |
| Anonymous #714458 7 months ago |
Yeah, I noticed the body difference. Of course, very newborn Equestrian ponies will have the same big heads newborn humans do:
intelligent creature -> proportionately larger brain -> gestation ends when head approaches size of birth canal -> newborns not muscularly developed. So Equestrian foals will take a while before they start walking, unlike real pony foals. Guess they look like this for a bit after birth. |

@HeinousActsZX
I know mate, just having a bit of fun. |
| Anonymous #714465 7 months ago |
I prefer that the one on the right go back to the pit it crawled out of. |
| HeinousActsZX #714469 7 months ago |
@714458
There is no confirmed correlation between brain-mass and intelligence. |
| gashunk #714474 7 months ago |
@458
makes sense to me but how the hell big would the birth canal have to be to push that out? |
| Anonymous #714542 7 months ago |
The left one, of course. The right one looks like it's confused by its own appearance. |
| FeralSocks018 #714551 7 months ago |
Whoops, logged out. This ^ was me. |
| SpacePaladin #714561 7 months ago |
Dear God, it's Stewie Hippogriffin! |
| cthulhlu #714572 7 months ago |
the left dosent look like a baby, it looks like a filly about the same age as applebloom and that, the right one is a newborn to me |
| Anonymous #714612 7 months ago |
Left, duh. I think the right is a newborn, while little Cheerilee may be some months older and just learning to walk. |
| Anonymous #714648 7 months ago |
The baby pony kinda reminds me of the yoshi hatchlings in Super Mario World (i think it's the mouth)...maybe we should try feeding it a star |
| TheLoneLampman #714772 7 months ago |
The baby on the right is a freak of nature; no wonder they 'accidently' let it go down that hill.
What. That's the sole purpose of that hill! |

Question is not applicable. Subject on right is foal of an age equivalent to human age range from birth to approximately three months. Subject on left is equal to the human age range of toddler, or (most likely) older. Pony with a human equivalent age of 10 to 12 months is shown below:

I find it super creepy how the "baby" has eyes like the animals do. |
| Anonymous #715716 7 months ago |
who da fuck decided the mutant on the left to be a baby? |
| FeralSocks018 #718084 7 months ago |
Here.

#715716 #715716 #714772 man you guys are reacting stupidly over eyes I think the artists at Studio B did and excellent job making a baby pony. You have a real problem when you draw your characters with "cute" sized eyes. The whole reason that Anime, and in this case Studio B, draws characters with large eyes because it instinctively makes humans think they are looking at little children, which triggers an instinctual cute reaction. also picture on the left thats cherilee a kid sitting like a pony (You have to be a nincompoop to think thats a baby. besides the eyes work for me, it like a mister kokopeli said the baby start out with those eyes but when they get older they lose some (Same with the head growing smaller, Am i the only one who notice that the foals slightly bigger head than there adult counterpart. |
| TheLoneLampman #725754 7 months ago |
Say I'm reacting stupidly all you want; that thing on the right looks downright freaky. |
