I think it's sound logic, I don't think it goes too far in terms of being "realistic" (considering these are talking ponies,) and I actually agree with it. But like some users are saying, art can be whatever the artist wants it to be.
And being purely true to the models in the show would make a lot of potential considerations to take into account for fan-art that's made for fun. I do prefer the characters to look mostly alike within an artist's style, but it's not that big of a deal. |
