fun fact: the guy that made Smash Bros (i forgot his name) regrets Melee because it was "too hardcore" which was against his original idea "fighting games are becoming too hard and complicate, i must make a fighting game that is fun for everyone!" |

^^Well I think Sakurai made Brawl even better than Melee was.
On topic: Somepony is modding the mane 6 into Brawl, and I think he may also be doing more ponies as well. |

A dorky thing I like to do for a bunch of different non-Smash fandoms is use a list randomize to assign specials based on the specials of an already existing Smash fighter to each character, then rationalize how each character could have a similar move. (Like for example, why Eridan would have a Bneutral similar to Kirby's Bneutral.) It's kinda like a puzzle. And it's also hard to explain. |

The wavedash lets a character slide along the ground without having to walk or dash. Use the air dodge to slide along the ground, and attack at the same time.
Tabuu is Discord's polar opposite. They are somewhat similar, in that they are far more powerful than the actual rulers of the world and would have won easily if not for one factor they never saw coming (Twilight restoring her friends to normal and Discord's own arrogance; Dedede's planning and Sonic appearing from nowhere to shatter Tabuu's wings). But Tabuu is a mute, featureless humanoid who seems to want absolute order, seeing as he wants to take over the Smash universe, turn everyone into a trophy, and absorb the world into the void of Subspace. He enslaved the god of the universe, Master Hand, and manipulated villains like Ganondorf and Bowser to do his bidding. But when push came to shove and his plans fell through, instead of turning the heroes against each other or sitting there like an idiot, he up and OHKOed the whole lot. No gloating, no breaking down, no theatrics. Just a plain ol' "rocks fall, everybody dies." Overall, I think Tabuu outdoes Discord in every category as a villain. He's more powerful, more cunning, more capable, and much scarier. And let's not forget that is a pain in the plot to fight this guy even after Sonic Ex Machina. |
