Who were these BG Ponies again?
Yeah their also waiting for the return to awesome in S02. I mean where are all the sub-jokes, like for example, but not limited too; the off key Yakkety Sax ref, or the half-dozen or so Movie Jokes, that ended in S02E02 with StarWars? Season 2 has really come up short in that department of late. And, I feel the shows hurting cause of it too... |

Ok never saw Big Lebowski, and I thought the Flight of the Valkyries was too over done, needs to be more subtle like in my examples, but yeah ok.
And yeah I did get the Super Hero Refs in the last Ep. And in shock that the only ref I could find of it was on Page 28, and not even a good One at that. (i.e. Spidermans "Never fear your blah blahh is here") I guess summer and all the Fanon head canon has killed off some of the magic I guess. then again it has been my opinion that One-uping "Return to Harmony" is going to be ONE HELL OF A TASK too... That and they have to ruin Lunas' only Ep, by turing it into a Halloween themed one. So Nightmare Moon acrtaully eats Fowls now? Well if anything, this could be used as further proof of Celestias' propaganda machine. |

Or the posters during the parade clearly been inspired by Batman the animated series? Why, if you listen, you can even hear the B:TAS theme song in the chase scene at the end. |
