This reminds me of quite sad situation, where you are born in family with strong military, (especially air force) traditions. That means that you are forced, or at least strongly expected to join the military, usually against your will. (Junior Speedsters, anyone?) This also means that there is not enough spots for talented, really motivated people which is even worse. Fortunately this doesn't apply to me but recently i have to deal a lot with such people and i must say that it doesn't look good at all.
