I've yet to have read a Soarin/Twilight shipfic. And trust me I specialize in straight shipfics.

I really want Twilight and Dash to get together, and then for Dash to go off for Wonderbolt training, become attached to Soarin', try to figure out how to reconcile her feelings for two ponies at once without hurting either, introduce Soarin' to Twilight, and end up with the best threesome ever. |

Twilight and Soarin' did both appear in the same room in the same scene at the Gala for a short time, though I don't think they ever did share the screen. Presumably they would meet later. Frankly, there's not really any male in FiM that Twilight's interacted with more than the teensiest smidge. |
