Imagine trying to give birth to that thing. I bet it's like a man trying to pass a kidney stone the size of a brick through his urethra |

I hope people don't really start drawin' 'em this way... |

Am I the only one who thinks that this was the first pony design NOT to be done like Lauren? I mean the eyes aren't expressive at all and feel like a cheap imitation... |
| sigh #707625 8 months ago |
Are you going to say that on every pic with the babby ponies? |

I think they are cute, and they are probably meant to be the age range of 0-6 months or something. |

Actually, no, because that'll require effort |

Hmmmmmmmmmm... I was indifferent about the baby-design before. And... I still am. It doesn't seem WRONG, but I don't quite know if I can say it's totally RIGHT either.
But actually babies in general usually look both cute and a little strange initially, don't they? Spike kinda looked that way too when he was hatched and everypony cooed over him too, didn't they? Now he's still a baby, but his grown-up design has a much nicer look to it. So... Yeah, I think I'm good with this after all! |

I'm okey with this.
"ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny" That would imply that pony infants are notably more animalistic than children and adults. [img]http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/8/2010/07/500x_monkey-3.jpg[img] |

well, human eyes grow dramatically in size from bith until about 15 to 16 years of age. The size of the human eye from front to back is about 17 millimeters(mm) at birth, and human eyes grow to about 21 mm by two years of age, and about 23 to 24 mm by the time you reach your teenage years, in which it has grown to about 7/8th of an inch. This eye growth is in the "axial length" of the eye (front to back), and not in the part in which one sees through when looking at something. So, truthfully hers eyes have not grown yet, they will in time though (Just like a human eye, which kind of makes it realistic. |

@Togeyosh
Yep. I do think the show's newborn foals look kinda weird, but at the same time, I've always thought that human babies look kinda weird too. |
