You clearly have no idea what the name means to the character.
Her father was a criminal called the Cluemaster, with an MO not unlike the Riddler. Stepanie Brown sought to stop his crimes by 'spoiling' the crimes for him. Hence, 'Spoiler' |

@Zincy Actually, I was the one trying to edit the Spoiler bit into the TVtropes page. Took some doing, it was initially removed to make way for Darkwing Duck, who was apparently more obvious. -.- |

Because he, like the Spirit (the comic version), is not as well known as Darkwing Duck. Besides, MMDW Is a collection of the Mask-Hat-Cloack/coat types, like the Spirit, the Shadow, Green Hornet, Batman, Darkwing, etc. |
