Yes. Hasbro *could* force the show to adopt their names.
That they haven't can only mean that these are different ponies from our beloved Background Ponies, when they don't match up. |
| Anonymous #704534 8 months ago |
These two are a bad example because they are way too shiny and sparkly to look like their show counterparts, so they could very easily be different ponies. |
| Glord #704537 8 months ago |
Can we just agree that whoever makes these names is high on some kind of amazing crack? |
| sellyme #704538 8 months ago |
And it also means that cutie marks don't make you unique, as has been clearly stated in the show several times.
Stop trying to explain away Habsro's incompetence. |
| sellyme #704546 8 months ago |
(To clarify, that was at Ferrotter. Also, that's flawed logic, as evident by Flutterdash, Pinklestia, Scootabloom, and the sosoft toys) |
| Jackarunda #704547 8 months ago |
Glord got it |
| Anonymous #704548 8 months ago |
@534
A better example would be Rose/Roseluck. The show called her Rose and the toy is Roseluck, showing that the toys were wrong. |
| Arrkhal #704556 8 months ago |
Just call them whatever you want. Geeze. Everyone already calls Lyra Lyra and Carrot Top Carrot Top. :P |
| Anonymous #704564 8 months ago |
For one thing, that is not Trixies cutie mark. Second, Caramel was named on the show. The others did not have names before these toys. Show canon > toy canon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> fanon. |
| Anonymous #704565 8 months ago |
And my comment got all freaky some how. Perfect. |
| sellyme #704566 8 months ago |
@564, Err, yes, it is. |
| Anonymous #704571 8 months ago |
@sellyme Hmmm... SO it is. Damn turkey overdose making me miss remember. My second point still stands though. |
| Glord #704581 8 months ago |
And whatever it is they're smoking, I want some. |
| Questionmarktarius #704640 8 months ago |
Yes, yes.
The fanon can declare the blind-bag names as bulshit now. |
| Anonymous #704761 8 months ago |
aaah this again? |
| Anonymous #717839 7 months ago |
Because, Einstein, that's not Caramel. It's background pony with colours similar to Caramel who appeaed in 2 episodes. Celestia, have you even bothered to compare "Trixie" and "Caramel" marks with originals? Apparently not.
Also, Heartstrings is superior in every way, deal with it. |
| Anonymous #740043 7 months ago |
^ Even though that's a plausible explanation, I still think that's Caramel. And their marks are the same as the show's.
About Heartstrings being better than Lyra, that's your opinion (I like both names, but I prefer to call her Lyra) |
| MyLittleJosieph #813510 6 months ago |
#704556 - I don't really recall anypony calling Lyra Lyra Lyra.
Also have the bronies here pretty much given up on tagging "Heartstrings" to all of Lyra's pictures? |

i get the feeling chance a lot is the stallion seen in the first opening pulling a wagon as twilight and spike get off the balloon. same colour, same cutie mark. |

i think you guys need to stop insisting on some fantastic and amazing order to random stock characters pulled out of nowhere to add $$$$$$$$ to hasbro properties
if they stopped and designed each character than all cutie marks would be unique by necessity and the names would all be standarized, but because they don't stop to design background characters, they just make a set of marks and randomly assign them to unimportant ponies that said, whether lulamoon is "the real name" or a former identity of Trixie is up to the individual fan work, I find it a fascinating route to take with the character since Trixie has -no depth whatsoever- and can use all the help she can get, but it really doesn't matter as for Caramel who gives a shit about that tranny |
| Anonymous #1038277 4 months ago |
I'm guessing Chance-a-Lot is Caramel's last name?
As for Lulamoon, that could be Trixie's off-stage identity... |
| Anonymous #1042208 4 months ago |
Seriously, nopony's noticed this?
Trixie = Unicorn. Lulamoon = Earth Pony. Also, just because they have the same cutie marks doesn't mean they're the same ponies. We've seen plenty of background ponies with similar cutie marks. Hourglasses, pickaxes, and crescent moons are all pretty popular. |
| Anonymous #1115924 4 months ago |
^ It's Rarity's model. The horn is there, darling |
| Anonymous #1137316 4 months ago |
The Great and Powerfull Trixie Lulamoon.
So the names on the toys were right all along. |
| Anonymous #1168695 3 months ago |
Hasbro wanted a show to be made to push the toys..
That's why the pony shows exists to begin with -_- |
