The artist does say that this wasn't really intended as being "shippy", although she tries to leave it open for each individual's personal interpretation (which is a nice touch, I think). Her earlier HUGS piece with Pinkie and Rainbow was basically the same way.
But she does say that these two are her favourite ponies. |
