This changes my perception of the show. Now tailboners exist and now I imagine the earth ponies being slightly larger in stature than unicorns or pegasi to compensate for a lack of an auxilliary skill like magic or flying |

Fuzimir, I always figured that Earth Ponies would be bigger. Think of it in terms of your average fantasy set-up. The mages are typically thiner and "squishier" since they rely on magic as opposed to physical labor. The Pegasi would be like the thief, they would be thinner and lankier since they rely on speed and agility, and in this case aerodynamics. |
