It has to be typed in as "Sweetie_Belle".
Note the uppercase letters. |
| Anonymous #696981 8 months ago |
^ *cough* sorry, but the word you are looking for is "capital" letters, not "uppercase". again, sorry. just saying... |
| Anonymous #696984 8 months ago |
I had the same problem when I tried to search Smarty Pants a couple of weeks ago. |
| NightJack #696986 8 months ago |
From this I'm getting "Oh I'm just going to try to find this one time and not alter the letters, if it doesn't that means it's not there." |
| HeinousActsZX #696991 8 months ago |
@696981
Hey, where I grew up, we called 'em uppercase and lowercase. Deal. |
| NightJack #696992 8 months ago |
@Anon981 The words "capital" and "uppercase" mean the same thing. |
| punctualjinx #696994 8 months ago |
So we're forced to type her name in capital letters BUT every other name can be either one?
Ponibooru I am seriously disappointed. |
| Kein #697010 8 months ago |
it is the same as with Nightmare_Moon, requires uppercase. I pointed this out to Eco looong ago, but he seems to be quite busy IRL. Oh well... |

uppercase?
Either I am a l33t hacker without knowing, or you all tell utter bullshit, but I can find sweetie belle, uppercase or not. Same reults. I assume, someone just sought utter bullshit like "hsgfdhshgstrh" got to the page, replaced "hsgfdhshgstrh" with "sweetie_belle" without pushing enter. Screenshot. Because I'd like to look at the url, too. |

@ryebread Here's your url jackass.

Indeed.
Also, @Heinous and @NightJack anon1 was making a joke and it was hilarious. |

Admittedly, tags being case sensitive is pretty ridiculous, but you can always Ctrl+F in the Tags page to find what you're looking for if the search engine's giving no results. |
| Anonymous #697468 8 months ago |
Copied from another comment:
Search is screwed up; searching 'sweetie_belle' gets no results, but 'Sweetie_Belle', or even 'sweEtie_belLe', does. Other searches show no case-sensitivity; searching for 'hasbroc' or 'hASBRoc' will still get you images tagged with 'HasbrOC'. Why? I don't know the technical reasons but apparently it has do with the system confusing underscores and hyphens, meaning, in this case, because 'sweetie-belle' is a stored tag. |

Yeah, I ran into this trying to add some Sweetie wallpapers to my randomizer. |
| Wheezie_Moonflower #697523 8 months ago |
I have to use Google search. I'd type ''"Sweetie Belle" site:ponibooru.org'' to get this search result... Note the site:ponibooru.org website refinement. I don't know if it can pick up searches that are flagged explicit, as the Google spider doesn't go anywhere where it's required to be logged in at the time of crawling. |

I pity the fools, who still use 413chan.net |

Yet another great reason to ditch all uppercase/capital letters from the tag system. |
