Is it just me or is there a trend in the godly tier of pony artist where they play fast and loose with eye anatomy to great effect?
Like when constricting pupils one massively shrinks the iris (as above). And conversely when one dilates the pupils the iris becomes so thin that they only outline it. (Skoon does that now.) I guess if the art style of the show is to make the eyes anime-lol large, then that gives you some room to play fast and loose. |
