I don't think we need to inflate the family more.
Tumblr says they are just friends. She also refers to her by the name Bright Eyes (I think that's from an early fanfic where Derpy is a smart girl with an eye problem). |

In my head they were fighting over who gets the claim on Dinky, as some people think Cloud Kicker looks more like Dinky's mom than Derpy, haha.
