It's simple, really.
It's a Mega Man clone, so whenever you defeat a boss, you get her powers. These characters are all mages, so Defeat = Magic. Furthermore, whenever you defeat a boss, said boss either becomes your friend or decides to rekindle their friendship, so Defeat = Friendship, just like in Nanoha. Therefore, by transitivity, Friendship = Magic. Sound familiar? |
