I'm pretty sure the animation usually gives them humanish wrists to go along with all the gestures they do that'd break a real horse's joints/bones.
For example, you can hold a human's hands behind their back, but if you do the same to ANY OTHER PRIMATE, that requires dislocating their shoulder. |
