Lose ALL abilities? So that means all artifacts, creatures, enchantments, and planewalkers become vanilla permanents.

^keyword abilities are abilities. yes, they would lose those abilities, too.
of note: since flying is a keyword ability, discord becomes the only creature capable of evasion on the board, as soon as he hits the board, until he's removed. if you're opponent's not packing removal it's basically time to scoop - justified since a converted mana cost of 8 is awfully high, especially in three colors. |

691490: Yes, as written, every ability would be negated, which effectively means Discord is unblockable. Even Llanowar Elves can't be tapped for mana. See: Humility (Tempest, 2WW, all creatures lose all abilities and are 1/1).
Now, here's a better question: would Enters The Battlefield abilities be negated? Do they become permanents before or after their ETB ability is put on the stack? |

I can see why he would have that, but removing all abilities is pretty much the opposite of chaos...
Some real chaos could be : "Both players current health is doubled. All non-land permanents become x/y creatures in addition to their original types, where X is their converted mana cost and Y is the # of different abilities. All lands are threated as black lotuses instead of their original abilities." Lulz would ensue. |

Mistform Ultimus would still be every creature type, though, and Lhurgoyf would be bigger than 0/1, because those abilities are applied before abilities that remove abilities are. |

Well, blue represents logic, particularly omniscience; black is amorality and near-omnipotence; and red obviously is chaos incarnate. I'd say that's particularly fitting for a creature that rivals or possibly exceeds Celestia in sheer power, and uses it to torment ponies and other creatures and objects in his sights.
Also, it seems easy to counter—just get Discord off the battlefield, then use a combination of Conspiracy (to change all creatures to Saprolings), Life and Limb (making all Saprolings Forests and vice versa) and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth (optional, but makes all lands Swamps as well as their old types). |

Just to separate it into a second post, for the counter to be wholly effective, you would need to give your other permanents shroud as well. Or you could just include March of the Machines and Opalescence to make artifacts and enchantments Saproling creatures that are also Forests as well. A tad convoluted, innit? |

^ The Control Magic would die, because it doesn't have the ability that lets it enchant a creature anymore; and the player with the Lich would lose, because the Lich doesn't have the ability that prevents that anymore. |

uhm, thats a very white ability you gave him there, I'd rather see him with a warp worldes'que effect, like "UBR: Target player shuffles a random permament into his library, then reveals the top card of his/her library, if its an permament with converted mana cost equal to or less than the card shuffled into library, put it into play tapped under its owners control" |

When I made Discord, I made him a planeswalker. Given his virtual omnipotence, he's just too powerful to be made as a creature. If you're interested, here's my version:
Discord, Chaos Incarnate RRRR Planeswalker — Discord +0: Exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card. Put that many loyalty counters on Discord, Chaos Incarnate. -1: Gain control of a random creature you don't control. -9: Choose any number of exiled permanent cards. Put them onto the battlefield, then exile that many permanents. 3 |

Sadly no, pikachu. Shroud makes something invisible to spells and effects that require a target. However, Discord isn't targeting anything with his ability he's blanketing the whole battlefield with his special 'F.U' radiation. |

Thanks for all the feedback on this card and on the tortoise's one (which, still, it's not the final version). Meanwhile, I've made a 145 card's set based on Season 1, though it still needs some final touches; and I should also find a page where I can upload them all, edit them when needed and such. |
