#321 I admit it's not totally honest maybe but face it : who wants to lose all their support ? Seriously. And as Scootsmod said, I respect those who don't want this on my blog.
Also an artist isn't someone who proudly shows everything he makes, because THAT would be really fucked up. This is just a gift to someone I like personally for their stuff, I had to upload it somewhere just to show it to LilMissRarity. PS: not implying I'm more of an artist than others. |

I seriously doubt you would lose 33% of your followers, that is largely speculative. Plus, if LMR posts it, you will gain followers. Trust me, that's how it works. I did a picture of Pinkamina melting. Trees reblogged it, and cosmicautogenesis (necroponnyxddd on here) reblogged it. I gained about 11 followers from trees doing so, and another 5 more when cosmic did. How many followers do you have, anyway? |

It has to do with everyone's own morals. Some people want to consider other people's feelings, some don't.

Scootsmod - This is why I think Tumblr should have a built-in Tumblr Savior, so everyone could filter stuff they don't want to see. At least, without downloading an extension to do so. We have tag filtering here and it works pretty well, though people like to leave their tag filters off and piss and moan about certain things. I agree you should consider feelings, but I also think you shouldn't censor yourself. |

DUH, as if the art style didn't tell me. Ugh, that's the last time I go to bed at 7am and wake up at 11. (no it isn't) You probably have like 3000-4000 followers, I wouldn't worry about this if I were you. If you lose 1000 followers (somehow, we both know this wont happen) you STILL HAVE 2000-3000. |

If lolover doesn't want this pic on his tumblr because he feels it's not appropriate for the theme, content or rating of the rest of the blog, that is not censorship, that is a creative decision. Whether it is based on "morality", "fan loyalty", a calculated decision or a whim, it's fine. I do hope you upload it to your Deviant art though or at least send it to the LMR blog owner so they can let those who want tot reblog it across Tumblr.. |

I see what you're getting at, and you're right, anon. I have always just posted/said whatever I felt like. So it isn't a big deal from my point of view. But for folks like the person who runs the traditional art Twilight Sparkle blog, it would be mood whiplash for their followers and they don't want that. So, yes I wasn't taking everything into account. As for censoring, Scootsmod is right. I guess restraint is a better word. Sorry, but it isn't like this is an established practice for them or anything. This is a one-time, "I can't show this on tumblr, so I'll show it here" thing. That makes it feel like censorship/restraint to me. Scootsmod, I'm not trying to force anything on anyone. I was simply saying they could post it and it probably wouldn't matter. I'm just expressing my opinions, and I feel like everything is being blown out of proportion, haha I was about to devolve to "Why the fuck am I arguing on the internet" but then realized it was only a friendly discussion. There are some level heads on Ponibooru, contrary to popular belief. |

Also as for the pic itself. It's pretty awesome. I especially like Sweetie Belle trying vainly to protect sucha damaged character from further (at this point practically redundant) harm.
I personally do not really like or respect the ask Lil Miss Rarity tumblr, other than an occasional lol like the strip with all the different Twilights. But that's mostly due to the characters and writing, not the art which is pretty interesting. |
