Hmmmm... Given the smartness, it should be a Noctowl, besides, the owl that tried to cast for the pet contest looked more like a Hoothoot, oh, and I agree, Torterra for the irony of it. |

@Wafflecannon, Shuckle has crap attack stats. Tell me how those stats fits with someone who can lift a boulder with his NECK.
If Tank was a pokemon, he'd SO be a Torterra or Grotle. Dash I can see flying most of the way to a place, then pulling out her pokeball and even make progress while she's napping! Must... resist... urge... nope can't. How old were you, when you got your first pokemon game? I was about 5ish, when I got Blue. Now most people who played Red and Blue were, at the time, what, 8? 10? 12? Now, I'm 15, And you all are? 18? 20? 22? Out the far end of a cynical age, which you entered when the later seasons started coming? Think out a few of the pokemon names in the first game, and the respective pokemon. Voltorb. Electrode. Geodude. Gloom. Diglett, which evolves by tripleganging up on people. Magnemite, see previous. Seel, oh Celestia, SEEL. |

Personally, I'd have Gummy be a Totodile ('cause Gummy likes getting wet and Sandile are desert Pokemon), Tank as a Grotle (See earlier comments), and Opal be a Persian (because Persians have a gem in their forehead and, well, Rarity).
The others are fine, though. |

This is pretty much exactly what I used in a fanfic I'm writing xD (the only difference is AJ had a Herdier, because Winona is 20% cooler with a mustache)
And I love giving Rarity a Purugly, purely for the fact that at some point, she had a Glameow, and without knowing the consequences, let it evolve. The look she'd have on her face would be priceless |
