Finally managed to get Arch configured to my satisfaction on this old dinosaur of a PC, and I needed to ponify it. Since understated elegance describes both Arch and Rarity, I decided to go with the Queen of Ham for my theme.
Wallpaper is from Jewelweed-Shine's excellent Implied Ponies Wallpaper series. In fact, I probably should upload those to Ponibooru. |

One of the best linux desktop set ups I have seen in a while. I have been meaning to try Arch, but I'm a bit putt off with the install process, but I heard the documentation for it is top notch. |

I always wanted to setup a Linux OS on my laptop, but I'm kinda afraid that I will fuck up something. |

Openbox FTW! |

@ZePassionateOne
If you use Linux Mint or *cringe* Ubuntu, the install is easy and painless. In fact you can even use the WUBI installer and install it like a program in windows. |

@Cipher: Arch's install process is definitely a lot more involved, yeah, especially if you start with the base Arch. Which is why I was lazy and started out with Archbang, instead, which is basically a pre-configured Arch Linux setup (with networking, etc.) working out of the box, with Openbox as the interface. I love that it comes default with packer, which lets you access the AUR right from the get go. :) Probably about the only hard thing about the install was partitioning the drives, which is easier if you pre-partition them in Gparted or something beforehand.
I've been meaning to try Arch for a long time, but kept putting it off for some reason or another. I wish I hadn't -- I learned more about Linux while using Arch in the past few days that I did in the last few years on other distros. |

0o0o0o0oo0 I actually have that on my drive as I type this. I was planning on doing some distro hopping and that one was on my list XD. |
