Their coloration may vary due to diet. They get their rosy pigments from algae or plankton.
Flamingos are actually white with black flight feathers. Color/species corelation just indicates the availability and type of food pigments in their respective geographic region. |

I always thought ponies would have the very tops of their heads (hair, ears) reach our waists, so they'd be almost crotch-height without any ability to partake in the aforementioned nastiness. |
