^ I think that's just plain incorrect. I mean, I'm all for other people's opinions and thoughts, but you can't deny that this episode compared to season 1's episodes were at least a little more enjoyable? After the Nightmare Moon and the Discord eps, they tone the seriousnes down a tad, but they still manage to keep it entertaining with some good humor and amazing animation. And I think they really topped season 1 by a long shot. But, I'm not hating on your comment at all, so don't take it the wrong way. sorry if I'm being a little "preachy" as well. :P excuse my bad english too haha |

^ The story was too cliche and predictable, the musical number wasn't that interesting and the only things people seem to be talking about are the goofy facial expressions Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were making while they sang. Frankly I was bored because I knew the ending before the first commercial break. I thought all the "RAD TO THE MAX" stuff from Rainbow Dash was really forced to the point that it got cheesy, and there were some weird asspulls like the bandage on Rainbow Dash's wings despite her being alone in a canyon. It just wasn't entertaining to me. I didn't laugh once.
There were quite a few episodes from season one that I enjoyed more than this. That's not to suggest this whole season has disappointed me--on the contrary, I thought the first five episodes were all great. Last week's episode I didn't like as much but it still had some funny things like the Big Lebowski cameos. This one just didn't do anything for me. I ain't mad, I just don't expect to ever sit through it again. |
