I will play Command Mission and X8 at some point, but X6 and 7 almost destroyed my will to live. |

^X8 was kinda not bad-- or at least the level design was alot less aggrivating than X7 (though still full of cheap death spots-- AHEM, Wind Crowrang), and it actually tries to develop some plot beyond "Add a character." X has new armor (basic blue and the pickup(s)) that looks kinda cheap in gameplay.
Command Mission just plain kicked all kinds of ass. |

^I whole heartedly agree with you about command mission, and X8 was pretty good when compared to the two that preceded it.
The worst things about X6 and X7, were what they turned Megaman X into. He's a super fighting robot, and they turned him into the whiniest crying robot. |
