For one thing, tags beginning with uppercase letters don't appear in the tag suggestions dropdown or the alphabetic tag list.

Also, tags beginning with uppercase letters are always placed before tags beginning with lowercase letters, instead of being truly alphabetized.

I just want proper capitalization. Every other booru I've seen has the first letter of proper names capitalized, as is right in the English language. This booru on the other hand needs to go back to grade school to learn its letters.

Who care about capitalisation?

What we need is a tag index where you can click on them and it show us all the picture related. And that, for every pictures.

I don't even know how to work the tags! I try searching for all kinds of things and nothing shows up!

Answer: Because their database doesn't search for terms via "LIKE", it searches via "=" which makes things a bit faster. It's really an issue with the php that enters stuff in the database, which doesn't cast it to lowercase first.
That's my educated guess, anyway.

People might not believe me, but I did that mainly to call attention to the problems the case sensitivity causes; one of them, as you may have noticed, being that however the tag is first typed is the way it's stored permanently.

Some other problems, all of which all-lowercase tags would probably solve:
  • Tags stored with even one cap won't show up as a suggestion when tagging images.
  • Search is screwed up; searching 'sweetie_belle' gets no results, but 'Sweetie_Belle', or even 'sweEtie_belLe', does. Other searches show no case-sensitivity; searching for 'hasbroc' or 'hASBRoc' will still get you images tagged with 'HasbrOC'. Why? I don't know the technical reasons but apparently it has do with the system confusing underscores and hyphens, meaning, in this case, because 'sweetie-belle' is a stored tag.
  • Capitals are alphabetized in an image's tags first ('Sweetie_Belle' comes before 'apple_bloom'). Minor but still annoying, especially with images with tons of tags. I started all my tags with lowercase letters just to avoid this.

Actually, it's only tags that beging with a cap that won't show up as a suggestion when tagging images. "spongebob_Squarepants" for example does show up as a suggestion.

I can't get, for example, ePiSoDe_33 to show up as a suggestion, so there must be something else to it.
