That's...actually kind of sweet as an interpretation. Though if I were starting from that idea I wouldn't go Dash, I don't think. Rarity's a closer friend and giving by nature, having shown herself several times to be willing to choke down her own distaste for the sake of another. |

@YouCloppinToFoalsBro: As shown in "Cutie Mark Chronicals" and "Hurricane Fluttershy", Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are childhood friends, easily the closest ones emotionally out of the mane six, even if Rarity is "giving by nature", wouldn't you go for the person you trust the most in this situation?
Or, y'now, they could be just a gay couple who just had sex, they really love each other and should be ashamed to be voyer on it, that works too and most likelly is the idea JJ had in mind(minus the shame part) when he drawn this. |
