Derpy is the name seen on the leaked storyboard she appeared on, plus it's the file name for her sprite in Castle Creator. The name Ditzy only appeared in reference to the wall-eyed pegasus once, when Faust said they might use that name, and that was a long time ago. |

Lauren never said Dizty was an alternate name. Back when Derpy first showed up and people were asking about her Lauren said that IF need be then Ditzy could be Derpy, and since then, Ditzy has never come up, yet Derpy has showed up NAMED in Flash flies on the website and the charity sketch by Lauren was labeled Derpy |
