cute!
out of topic: someone knows if that internet censorship bill was rejected? I MUST KNOW! IS THE INTERNET SAFE?! |

Is there an ask Allie Way tumblr yet? |
| IMKitsune #675562 8 months ago |
Yes PonyRIG, in America it was rejected. The implications of the bill would of literally destroyed the internet in the US and would cause problems with people from other countries who would of tried accessing a US server because they too would have to follow the law even if they don't live here. That's against international agreements.
Also, I feel like I've seen her before, but can't remember where. |

@IMkitsune: YAY! |

Wait wait wait, what censorship bill is this? I saw something on about it on Nostalgia Critic's site but disregarded it because it looked like an online petition. |

It dealt with internet cookies, anonymity, and porn. Essentially, The US Gov wanted to crack down on illegal porn sites by making it mandatory for each server in America send Ping signals to USGOV comps. As for cookies, they tried to make it illegal for a site to download them onto your comp unless you agreed to a popup window. Say yes, goes on as usual, say no and the site would not be allowed to save things. Problem is that cookies are a functional part of the internet. Stop them, you stop the internet. |

Hmm, not to mention that The Internet would stop the moment any single governing US server went down. Wow, who came up with such a stupid idea? |
| IMKitsune #675627 8 months ago |
^ One of the senators in California. He got the idea from Europe. |

Stupid Europeans. Probably a British, Guardian-reading busybody, no less. |

I'm surprised people were in such an uproar about something that had absolutely no chance of getting passed. Like, seriously. Every time something comes up against net neutrality, it gets shot down IMMEDIATELY! |
| PonyRIG #675668 8 months ago |
@cyber95: it was a close call, 52-47, it was almost passed... |
| Anonymous #675674 8 months ago |
@IMKitsune
Well I'm european and I can't remember anything that even slightly resembles that. We are definitely not the source. |
| cyber95 #675713 8 months ago |
@PonyRIG: and then Obama would have vetoed it if it did. It literally had no chance of passing. |

Cash for clunkers happened.
There is no certainty for anything pass/fail with him.. |
