After finally losing to Twilight again in a battle of magic, Trixie resigns herself to finding other pursuits to fulfill her destiny.
*insert montage here* And yet, nothing seemed to work. *continue montage, but with very exasperated looking Trixie* So she moved on from place to place, hobby to hobby, job to job. This was her last attempt *show picture of storefront* ...when she was caught by the trappings of fate... *flash of light, picture showing storefront with blood spatters* ...and forced to fight for her life against a horde of twisted creatures, *transition to image of Trixie crying as a dead space monster wearing a torn-up shirt upon which can barely be read: "Trixie's Fine Candies" looms over her with murderous intent* ...shadows of her latest attempt at living a life. *image of Trixie's horn glowing* Now she has to run yet again, *zoom out of the image for a few seconds. It starts moving, now a video showing Trixie using her magic to slam a piece of furniture through a window. She jumps through after it, soaring out of the room and out into the open air of a ruined atrium. Corpses all over the place. the dead-space monster lunges to catch Trixie as the video goes in slow-motion* ...and survive not an angry mob, *focus on the corpses in the room as Trixie lands on the ground with a telekinetic soft landing* ...but beings from hell *dead space monsters shamble into the room* and the insanity that is their aid... *corpses turn into more monsters. Camera moves back to show Trixie surrounded. She squeezes her eyes tight. Camera zooms in on her right as tears start coming out. Eye opens. Glowing with magical overcharge like Twilight. Camera cuts to show room shaking and the creatures rushing forward to kill her. *Image freezes and goes gray, then black. Large words flicker and fade in, reading "Trixie's Fine Candies." Scene starts to brighten slightly. It's Trixie's storefront again. Battered and bloodstained.* *Narrator reads the sign.* Trixie's Fine Candies. Hell, has a sweet tooth. *Everything but the sign fades to black. The viewer can hear distant sobbing "why, why, why?" The sobbing is cut off by a crash noise and a scream. Sign flickers off as if out of power.* |
