"Pinto" is just the PC word. It's considered impolite to point out he's a calf, much like it's impolite to point out Snips is a pig with a corn cob glued to his forehead. |

... doesn't anyone else who watches FiM know anything about equine coloration? I thought -everyone- had heard of paint/pinto horses. Jeeze. |

^ Equines aren't pink and purple; the fact that he has realistic coloration is what made people think he wasn't a pony in the first place. Until he showed up, colors like his were only seen on cows and pony coats were all one solid color, and I still think it's odd that they changed that just for him. |
