it's popular mainly because ater initial criticism, the author did something almost unheard of in the fanfiction community... he went back and rewrote things to improve the story.
but anyway, I REALLY hate it when people use lauren faust as a mouthpiece for their own opinions. |

At this point the drama is less about the character than about a factional war within the fandom, however. Despite suffering from a questionable premise, writing that wobbles as it aims for a level above the writer's abilities, mutilated canon personalities, some absurd plot points, and an end-game ass-pull that guts the question it could have charitably been considered to be asking as a theme.... It doesn't really warrant the level of fighting. |

Sevireth and AdrianBrony screech and yell about people putting words in their mouths while they are desperately trying to do the same to the ones they dislike.
Also, they worry too much for what a person on the internet may opine about their favorite series. Turn off the computer and go outside, guys. Get a life and some friends (real ones, ot facebook contacts) as well, you both seem to need them really bad. |

Ironically, none of the shitstorms would've happened if AdrianBrony and Sevireth didn't butted in to kick and scream against the fandom for doing things they didn't allowed them to do or think.
Honestly, most of problems can be avoided by simply muffling the noisiest fans so the rest, aka the true fans could enjoy their thing undisturbed. |
