This is EXACTLY how I picture Discord. He was not always a psycho obsessed with pure chaos. Such a creep would never have come to power in Equestria. Only a good leader would have ever claimed the throne.
I'm sure that he gained friends in his glory days and ended up losing them in the end and not being able to join them due to being completely immortal. Gaining friends and then losing them generation after generation. The pain would only increase each time. In the end, he would do anything to suppress the pain. Even if it meant drowning the world, and himself, in chaos. Do you want to live forever? |
