I wouldn't worry--you just know that if the CMCs get their cutie marks, they'll get them at the same time. They have way too much plot armor for it to happen any other way. |

I could see her getting hers last. The other two have talents they like and have no problems using but just haven't caught on yet. With Sweetie though, she doesn't like singing around others for various reasons, so it could be harder for it to click unless she can overcome those reservations. Add in her being depressed because she's the only one who didn't get her mark yet making her further self-conscious, she'd be so unhappy she wouldn't be likely to belt out in song in public.
She could get delayed quite a bit that way, but then again she might reach a point where she's so heartbroken over it she just starts making up a sad song in the middle of town. Queue everyone standing around and slowly forming a giant impromptu crowd, and then once she finishes and realizes what's happened, BAM! Cutie mark. |

Eh, too reliant on plot contrivance. You seem to keep thinking that the others abandoning her when they get their Cutie Marks is preset, but just look at them. They're as close as can be, and they truly care about each other - if Scootaloo and Applebloom got their cutie marks, then they'd put all their effort into helping Sweetie Belle get hers, pulling her into the spotlight. I'm picturing her awkwardly shuffling on a stage before a crowd of ponies, Applebloom and Scootaloo beside her to give her confidence, before she lets lose and BAM. Susan Boyle moment, not a dry eye in the house. |

It's emotional as hell, but I could never headcanon Sweetie Belle as being the last crusader. Scootaloo is the one too obsessed with rainbowdash and needing to be like rainbowdash to find her OWN special talent, so to me, she'll always be the last one to get her cutie mark. |
