So many people saying because of this Spike only likes Rarity for her mane. It could just be that he associates the mane with Rarity and loves Rarity style things.

@TheOneTrueZephin: It's posture. Rarity seems tall because she's got good posture, as befits a lady.
Speaking of this scene, that's got to be really weird for Twilight seeing Spike get attracted to her like that -- she practically raised him, after all. Definite squick. |
