@anon 210 Fun Fact: The beaked mask that plague doctors wore was essentially a gas mask. The prevailing medical theory at the time was that disease spread via bad smell. So the beaks of those masks were filled with flowers and other fragrant things to block out the bad smell of everyone dying. |
