Nothing canon about it. Two ponies have similar color schemes, and derp eyes, doesn't mean they are related. Also, there have been scenes with like 5 Derpys in it at the same time so I think she can defy logic. |

#662978 seems to be one of the few people that has any sense. Derpy (or Ditzy, whatever you wanna call her) is an Easter Egg that can appear anywhere at anytime. There isn't supposed to be anything about her that's the least bit canon. The whole thing about her being older than she looks and having children is fanon, not canon, and it's entirely based on assumptions perceived from cameos that have no bearing on plot, whatsoever. |

By the end of the season, they will have deluded themselves into thinking that this neat/comical BG pony is the mother of 8 fillies. Makes me think you guys have mommy issues. |

So two derpy pegasus ponies with a similar color scheme are obviously not related... But a unicorn filly with a slightly similar color is related to Derpy? Even though neither of them have ever been in the same scene together, nor interacted in any conceivable way, and the unicorn filly has been shown to have a canon relative that is also a unicorn.
