oh spare me. I saw "love and tolerate" being used for the reason it is today on /b/ and /co/ before ponychan ever came to be.
yes, ponychan can be a little too much of a circlejerk at times on some of the boards, but it's not THAT bad, and not the source of all the fandoms problems like some people like to imply it is. |

"Love and tolerance" - the phrase, as a phrase - doesn't appear in any archived /co/ post prior to the show taking off on /b/ in February.
But the sentiment existed there as early as November. Alas, I suspect it's impossible for a fandom to grow as much as ours grew without cracking at its seams. |
