Technically, Derpy & Unicorn!Dinky were never in the same scene either, I think the crowd shot in Sisterhooves Social was the closest. |

But if Derpy's a mother of Sparkler, who appears to be college age, how can Derpy be in the Best YOUNG Flier's Competition unless there exists some sort of Time Distortion going around.
I say that Sparkler time traveled into the past and got together with her mother to protect her own timeline (make sure she gets born), and is just passing the time having fun in the past with her older/younger sister, Dinky Hooves. |

The only people saying the fandom "must adapt or deteriorate" are the people who hate the Dinky/Derpy dynamic to begin with. Your opinions are invalid.
Derpy's appearance in Cutie Pox was an animation gag; that episode's "Where's Derpy" moment, and nothing more. As for Sparkler, I still don't believe they are biological sisters as they look far too different. It makes more sense to me that Sparkler was acting as Dinky's sister since Dinky couldn't participate otherwise. "Adapt or deteriorate" my ass. You people are starting to annoy me. |

Derpitude is clearly contagious. We've seen several Derpies at one time. Now, it has spread to one of the fillies.
Dinky was participating in the Sisterhood Social with another pony who didn't have a sister because telling them they couldn't do that would be discriminatory. Applejack and Sweetie Bell set that standard. There is still one original Derpy (patient zero) who delivers mail and is Dinky's mother. Problem solved. Now, get back to enjoying fanart. |
