The artist's pet parakeet Caesar died today. The 'keet on Fluttershy's ear lived with Caesar. |

I think Fluttershy knows well the pain of losing a beloved pet. I am certain she wasn't always able to save all of her patients.
Yet, I feel that Fluttershy wouldn't have it any other way. There may be great sorrow when her little friends pass on, but they shared an even greater happiness when they were alive. I have a feeling that Fluttershy's pets aren't so much as pets as animals the yellow pegasus had befriended. In a way it might be comforting knowing Fluttershy gave her animal friends a warm, rich and rewarding life they otherwise may have never known. :) |

My rabbit lived for 9 years, and I heard of rabbits that have lived even longer. But it really depends. |
