We need a more antiquated form of measurement than miles.
Leagues, maybe? |

Furlongs? |
| gasmaskangel #651315 8 months ago |
Fucking brilliant. |
| badinfluence #651324 8 months ago |
I really think Equestria would be using miles if anything. Either that or they'd have their own measurements of distance.
I also think Equestria itself would only be a single nation in their world. The others would just accept that Celestia is not only the ruler of her nation, but the sun goddess of the whole planet. |

Griffy the Griffon would be in the Henry Gibson role. |

(Fluttershy and Dash sit in an overturned police car in a trashed mall. Dash looks at her wrist and some smudged-out pencil.)
"They broke my watch!" |

@651284 That would mean the Nazis are called Anti-Semites. |

So whose the penguin who breaks the ruler over Tia's head at the Orphanage? |
| Morp #651817 8 months ago |
The Penguin is clearly Discord. |

@Wafflecannon silly brony implying that miles are not an antiquated and obsolete measurement system. |
| Anonymous #652300 8 months ago |
They're still in use.

Oh man, good times... |
| MilesAvius #653219 8 months ago |
@1970 the mile is actually pretty new, the late 1800's, so antiquated it is not. Obsolete possibly but since it is still widely used by a major population not so much. By those standards the word bushel would be obsolete due to the few small amount of people that use it. |

*snickers at the Metric Nazis*
We still use miles in the US. Deal with it. also *hugs Luna* |
| Lancer #658108 8 months ago |
Some day the world will finally admit that the huge 10:1 steps forced by the metric system, while easy to calculate, are clumsy and inefficient for actual measuring... And then they'll invent in-between units to cover the gaps, which will no longer be easy to calculate. |
| aceofscarabs #1263637 3 months ago |
We already have fractions in metric. |
