Description:
This was my Halloween costume this year I'm not the greatest seamstress but I love fashion and designing clothing It's not a completed project, there were supposed to be stars on the skirt and bodice but I'm not at the stage where I'm ready to start on embroidery. The bodice also came out kind of frumpy :/ (you can probably see some of my errors in the pic) I almost gave up but I finished it in the end. I'm planning to go back and redo it. Once I have a better bodice and a wig I'll probably do a photo shoot (though that might be a while considering we're heading into winter and winter is COLD where I live) The dress is also SUPER sparkly! |

Did you do a matching headpiece with it, or just a complementary star hair-slide/barrette? Oh, and were you planning on adding a bustle to it to give it a closer look to the show's dresses? |

I meant a bustle as in a framework to make your bum stick out. XD
The gala dresses have to take account for the pony's tales; obviously you don't need to do so yourself, but as a bustle is an actual thing, I was wondering if you'd considered it for your design. (Sorry, I'm not out to lumber ya with tonnes of work.) I can't wait to see what you've got in mind for a halr piece, though. Knowing you, it'll be awesome. :D |
