Ex, if you're on the beach, do you A: Wear clothes since you can. Or B: Wear close to, or nothing since it'd get rather hot and sweaty otherwise? They have their coats to keep them warm. And in quite most occasions they wear clothes, it seems to be to either: 1: For special occasions. 2: To keep warm/dry. |

In my headcanon, clothing is optional for ponies, and that wearing fancy dresses at is a sign of wealth. Otherwise, the decision to wear clothing is completely up to the individual. |

Does OP not understand that different cultural values about nudity vs. clothing are possible?
Ponies are like nudists (not radical nudists who are nude 24/7 like the ones in Family Guy), they wear clothes when they hav a reason to (and keep in mind they hav warm fur so warmth usually isn't an issue) and don't care about whether others can see their rumps. |
