It's possible that flashbacks aren't quite as real as a relatively uncloned appearance at a competition that implies that she's young and around Rainbow's age. Make up what you like, but don't try to insist that its plausibility hasn't been hurt. I want to be able to enjoy Derpy/Dinky fanwork after all, and I don't care if it is more implausible now. I have a separate category for what I find to be plausible anyhow. |

Flashbacks aren't the best sources. From a purely show based view Derpy/Dinky has fallen to implausibility. However if any of you truly don't mind this because "fanon is meant for fun", something I wholeheartedly agree with, then you don't and shouldn't need evidence on your side to keep going. You don't need to increase the perceived plausibility in the least, that's just not what makes the idea fun or appealing in the first place. |
