I think many of us will remember of Trixie as a charlatan because of the plot, but he WAS actually good at magic. |

^That depends on how legitimate one views directly humiliating someone is. Or how she used magic when she couldn't match Earth Pony or Pegasi skill (which seems somewhat incongruous in a test of ability like that).
She had some great magical ability, that's true. But she was pretty mean-spirited, and unless being off-screen warranted character development, then, eh. |
