Umm... I didn't see any fandom shoutouts in Lesson Zero. Luna Eclipsed had Derpy in her most prominent role since Feeling Pinkie Keen, but that's really all I can think of this season. Unless you count "focusing on characters other than Twilight" as a fandom shoutout since many of us have said we would like to see that.
I agree with you about the avatar business. Just because it was inevitable doesn't mean it was ok. |
