Pretty sure it's the way she bent her leg. Her whole leg is in front of her body, and the "shoulder" is connected to the rest of the leg and squished up against the torso. That or an anatomy derp. Also is it bad that my favourite thing about this pic is the tail-butt transition and the horn? |

Kevinsano, thanks for responding to comments a couple times here, it's always great to see an artist do that. I don't know if you'll check this again but I think this is some of your best work. Along with the Applejack/Big Mac piece it's my favorite of your images at least. It's great to see you doing something more dynamic with either multiple characters or a setup like this-you certainly have the talent for it. I like the detail you put into the scenery and the variety in the tentacles here. It would be great to see you do more dynamic piece like this in the future.
You and slugbox are both awesome, it's cool that you're doing trades and such. Good luck with everything! |

As much as I'm a supporter of Vinyl Scratch and/or tentacle rape, the one thing I'm not a fan of is Kevinsano's "abstract" art design. Bulbous snouts, rotund bodies, translucent horns in the case of the unicorns he draws... it's not that I'm not a fan of the content he draws and I'm a firm believer that every artist is allowed his own unique style, I'm just... really not a fan of his style. Sure, he draws ponies, but they don't look (to me, personally) like they're actually ponies.
But I digress; I shouldn't badmouth an artist's style immediately after finding one of their pictures. It's a good picture in its own right, it's just not my style. |

I approve of the "rotund" butt on scratch. The snouts I find funny and entertaining, not like you're gonna be looking at that while fapping to ponies. "OH GOD THAT NOSE IS SO FUCKING SEXY, Screw the random floating dick showering X pony in semen though" And if you really want correct ponies, cartoonlion does anatomy correctly with her futashy, i'm sure you'll have a blast with it Correctly being drawn into the images. |
