Speaking of saddening ideas, crackpot theory:
Dinky was never Derpy Hooves' daughter. Fanart created of them together as mother and daughter all take place in Derpy's mind, as an expression of her loneliness and desire to have a foal of her own. I don't subscribe to this crack theory, but it's heartbreaking to consider. |

now THAT is a good idea commence more sadness! Derpy and Dinky are also the only surviving members of the Doo family. Derpy's grandfather was killed in a trained accident, and her grandmother died of food poisoning. Her father went missing after he traveled to the Everfree forest, and her mother was raped and killed by a bunch of burglers. Derpy also had a sister who she never knew, beause she died 45 minutes after her birth. Why am I doing this |
