Ok, now my small opinion on this whole 'heartstrings' thing. So what if she has an official name now. Lyra is the name we gave her. Just because she has an actual name now, dosn't mean that Lyra is thrown out the window. Think about it this way. Lyra can be our little nickname for her. How awesome is that? That the brony community has their own little inside thing that has been around from the beginning (round-abouts). That years from now, when the new bronies have come about (I hope this is all still alive then) will ask the older ones who we are talking about. I have a few groups of people that have inside-joke nicknames for me, depending on when they knew me. Lyra is the name for her from the fans who knew her from the beginning. Her name is Heartstrings, but she'll always be Lyra to me. |
