Late for Halloween but I just got my memory card back and...nevermind, here's my attempt at Nightmare Moon. First time I've tried that shaving off the skin to let light through thing and it worked better than I thought (I did the mane Halloween day so didn't see it until showtime). Even most of the stars shone through (though most look round and they're supposed to be diamonds). Her horn is straight if you look at if from above (silly me, I forgot pumpkins are round...)
I didn't make a stencil or draw on the pumpkin, I worked from a little sketch I'd done. Tools: good ol' kitchen knife. |
