Agreed with the above two posts. Derpy and Dinky were never canon in the show. But the issue arises as to what the proper reaction and course of action to take with their fanon. It's not an issue of "omg we're so ungrateful towards studio b" Etc More like "Damn how should this affect things with Derpy/Dinky"
Silly I know but fandom loves it's BG ponies which in essence in the show's sense aren't important. |

How can you tell that Derpy and the purple whatshername pony are the same age? My first thought on seeing them was "oh, maybe that's Derpy's other daughter." A pony doesn't have to have wrinkles or be fat to show that they're older. |

well I think ponies may actually age quite slowly I think they also have a longer lifespan than humans I guess they live to be about 100 or 150 or maybe even older how else would they be able to document how long a dragon sleeps |
